1969-77s:
Played for the Kingston Red Barons (Senior A)

1973-76:
Played for Queen’s University Golden Gals; only certified female ref in Kingston

1978:
Volunteer VP of the OWHA

1979:
First paid female Hockey administrator; developed the infrastructure for women’s hockey in Ontario

1982:
Organized the first official National tournament for Women’s Hockey

1982:
First chair of the Female Council

1982:
First woman to hold a vote on the CAHA board of directors

1983:
Lobbied for the removal of intentional checking from the women’s game

1982-83:
First woman certified as a coach with the NCCP

Professional accomplishments

1985:
First female President of the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce

1984:
Owner of RET Staffing Services, a successful HR staffing and consulting firm (sold to Adecco in 1993)

1994:
Landed one of the largest VMS contracts in the Canadian HR space for Olsten (now Adecco), at approximately $20 million in sales

1997-8:
International recruiter for Passport Canada

2004:
Displaced cervical vertebrae; was told she would never be able to work again

2012:
Started work again at HR.com

2014:
Became VP of HRMarketer, a software company based in California

2017:
Recognized as a social media influencer in the HR space of the US marketplace
